Peckew Trail Riding & Farm LLC
We are located in Shawneetown, Missouri, just north of Cape Girardeau/Jackson. Our name "Peckew" is taken from the Shawnee language, and means "peace". We offer luxury cabin rentals in a truly peaceful, country farm environment, each with two bedrooms, bathroom, large kitchenette and living room, on our farm and vineyard, less than 10 minutes from Apple Creek Horse Trail and Flickerwood Arena, and 20 minutes from Trail of Tears State Park (MO) Horse Trails. We also can provide self-contained camper camping at this time.
Our 100-acre farm includes a vineyard and winery, opening soon to the public, but now only open to our guests, as well as wooded and field trails on the farm for lovely rides without trailering. We share our passion for horses through guided trail rides on our horses, and we welcome you to bring your own (current negative Coggins and vaccinations required), with tie lines, or you can use our stall or paddock facilities for a nominal fee. Also, we have many small farm animals for petting and play, as well as pony rides for the kids.
If you have more time on your hands, we have several fishing ponds for your relaxation and enjoyment. Call us and come visit our little patch of paradise at Peckew Valley (just pronounce it "PQ")!
